Seddon Markers Market
Excited to have my first market stall of 2017 at the Seddon Makers Market in the lovely Seddon. I’ll be at the Seddon Uniting Church from 9.30am-3pm alongside a bunch of other local creatives and makers. I’ll be inside the Church area, selling all my designed and sewn Fabric Drawer products. Hope to see you there. The Seddon Festival will be running that day from 11am-5pm, so it will be the perfect day out.
Post market wrap-up:
After a slow start, it took about an hour an a half to make my first sale, the Seddon Makers Market was without a doubt one of the most well organised and best markets I’ve done. After feeling somewhat organised the night before, I left half of the bits for my stand at home and managed to drop my petty cash while unpacking, but found it when I returned to the car (luckily!). So I started the morning feeling a little uncertain how this day would pan out.
Fortunately after breathing a sigh of relief when I made some sales, had lovely stallholders and organisers checking in on me, I started to feel like a bit better. The afternoon got pretty warm and apparently the crowds were small because of the festival up the road, but I was pretty happy with the sales for the day. This experience did, however, prompt me to upgrade my phone as I could no longer take PayPal Here payments as my iPhone 4 was out of date! Taking electronic payments is a must these days!
