Feature in Pattern Pulse Book

When I was at studying and even throughout the early years of my career as a graphic designer, I had never heard of the term surface designer. There were graphic designers, illustrators, textile designers, interior designers but not surface designers. It wasn't until I started delving into the world of repeating patterns that I realised it was a thing!

Rachael King, a graphic and surface designer herself has showcased the work of 100 Australian surface designers in her book Pattern Pulse: Exploring the Art of Australian Surface Designers. I'm thrilled to have my work featured in the book and for Rachael's hard work to bring this book to life. The surface design industry feels very small here, but there is a wealth of talent out there that is now collated into one beautiful book.

Due to be launched on October 14th, you can pre-order the books through the Pattern Pulse website.
