Frankie Magazine Good Stuff Awards 2019: Finalist

The best kind of news you can receive on a Monday morning is that you’ve been selected as a finalist for the Frankie Magazine Good Stuff Awards. For those of you who don’t know, Frankie Magazine runs the awards to recognise the talents of a variety of creative professionals or small business.

I entered my work in last year, after seeing a fellow crafter/maker being a finalist and thought it was worth entering my work, just to get my work out there. I’ve been selected as a finalist in the Design category and am a little excited that Beci Orpin (who I have admired for a long time), will be the judge of that category.

The fellow finalists in all the categories have really unique ideas and aesthetics, so I feel really lucky to be considered in the final few. I’m not expecting to win (just look at the quality of the other entries!!), but just having a bit of exposure of my work, getting surface pattern design out there and having Beci Orpin to take a look at my work, is exciting enough.

You can send a vote my way for the People’s Choice Award here.
